Pristino Pure is a septic tank cleaner designed for households and commercial properties seeking hassle-free drainage maintenance. The brand focuses on dissolving waste, preventing clogs, and eliminating odor using a non-invasive, drop-based formula. With a growing presence in the sanitation and cleaning segment, the brand sought a way to simplify its messaging and make the product visually appealing to mass audiences.
Project Objective
The client needed a 30-second commercial that could demonstrate the problem of septic clogging and how Pristino Pure resolves it — all without using disturbing or unhygienic visuals. They envisioned a crisp, animated, and family-friendly presentation that would make the science of the solution accessible to everyday consumers. Using a green screen studio was essential to create controlled and symbolic environments for clean, clear messaging.
Challenges Faced
The major creative challenge was visually depicting septic tank problems (like buildup, waste breakdown, and odor control) without making the visuals graphic or unpleasant. Since filming inside actual septic systems was not viable, we had to rely on stylized metaphors and digital environments built entirely through green screen for VFX.
Technically, syncing the actor’s performance with animated visuals — such as bacterial activity, clog dissolving, and flow restoration — required precise blocking and eye-line matching within the chroma studio for video production.
Execution
We shot in a fully lit green screen for virtual production studio using a three-point lighting setup for consistent exposure and smooth chroma keying. The actress was directed to interact with simplified props — a kitchen sink, a drain model, and a countertop — while the rest of the environment was digitally rendered.
A Sony FX6 was used to capture 4K video in neutral gamma for ideal post-processing. All visual metaphors — such as animated enzyme drops, clog particles, and water-flow animation — were created in Blender and composited with Adobe After Effects.
The product’s hero shot was recorded on a motion-controlled turntable and enhanced with fresh shimmer trails and bubble particle effects to convey hygiene and freshness. Informational text overlays like “Flush & Forget,” “Eco-Safe,” and “No Manual Cleaning” helped reinforce product messaging.
We exported content in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Meta Ads. A calm, confident female voiceover with subtle ambient sound design completed the polished, approachable feel of the commercial.
Results Achieved
The commercial successfully turned a complex sanitation concept into a visually simple and appealing narrative. Thanks to green screen for virtual production, we created a clean, stylized world without using real sewage or uncomfortable imagery. The crisp CG animations and actor performance gave audiences an easy-to-understand visual journey through the product’s benefits.
